This was my second time ever reading a piece I wro

This was my second time ever reading a piece I wrote out loud to a group of people (the first was at an open mic last Thursday at @alibialeworks hosted by @tangledrootswriting ❤️). Writing is a very scary, personal act but most of the time it leaves your computer and you don’t have to watch people react to it. Standing up in front of people and speaking your heart out like this is very difficult. Though I sound monotonous and don’t make eye contact with the crowd, I’m super proud of this moment. Thank you to @iamsierraarts @jacciturner @authorcassidycarson @jt_hume and others who supported me on Sunday and to all who make the Reno/Tahoe writing community what it is.
